9. Can I choose my own doctor?
- - Absolutely! The law specifically gives you the right
to select your own treating doctor. After an auto
accident, you may seek treatment from the
licensed doctor or chiropractor of your choice. The
auto insurance will pay for medical bills no matter
who you choose to see. Your insurance company
will not refer you to any medical facility, so you can
choose anyone you wish.
