Auto Accidents
1. What is auto accident injury?
- Auto accident injury is most commonly associated
with rear-end car collisions in which the victim’s
head snapped back and forth very quickly by the
impact. The painful result is injury to the ligaments,
soft tissue, and discs of the neck and spine.
- Seemingly minor auto accident can cause chronic
pain and suffering due to soft tissue injuries. These
are injuries to the joints, muscles, and ligaments that
can result in the formation of scar tissue and
adhesions to the injured tissues. This "scar tissue" will
start to form in the injured area within 24 hours of the
injury regardless of your level of pain. The scar tissue
is weaker and less flexible and may result in pain
that never goes away!
